Like many artists, I’ve read a bunch of books, watched a bunch of videos and studied with a bunch of experts. I sometimes found their insights contradictory so, long ago, I decided to organize my notes into one comprehensive outline, specifically so I could compare and contrast the various viewpoints. The notes were to aid my own comprehension, so I typically only took notes that provided some kind of insight that I hadn’t already garnered elsewhere. As a consequence, they’re probably not of much value to the neophyte, but the advanced artist should find them helpful.
