Can artist outside the area be part of the Plein Air contest?  I see you mentioned around the Bay Area, but I am from Elk Grove just south of Sacramento.  I just won 3rd place in the California State Fair 2015 Plein Air Art Contest.  I am part of the Sacramento Plein Air Painters group and do Plein Air painting in Yosemite and Monterey almost every year.  In will be up in Alaska and Canada doing some Plein Air painting in August for several days, but back in time for your August 29th event.

Hi Ronald, of course you may! We welcome anyone who would like to join, and your work is lovely!

You can find the online Call to Artists on our website at http://downtownsanrafael.org/Artists-in-Action-A-Plein-Air-Paint-Out

We look forward to seeing you there!
